3 Tips to Market Content via Social/Digital Efficiently

“There is no failure except in no longer trying.” – Chris Bradford

We rely on social/digital media more and more till they become inseparable with us, living in our lives even closer than our family and friends. Quoted from MetaFilter user, blue_beetle, “if you’re not paying for something, you’re not the customer; you’re the product being sold.”

Particularly, the users are the product being sold in social media platform. People used to be outraged, but eventually adapted to the idea they are the products, being sold to advertisers. But how can you market your content to the users effectively among all the other competitors and factors?

Making content stand out

What is the uniqueness of your business your competitors do not have? Is this first in the world/market/region? Do you target only on certain audiences? Marking down your unique-selling-point (USP) is the very first step of promoting your business because this is what makes your business stands out among others.

Making your business trending like a topic

Create a tagline/slogan to your business, making it a trend. You will immediately think of Nike when we said, “just do it!” The encouraging tagline created a topic, driving people to generate conversation, discussing the meaning behind it. In a state of mind, the tagline is a form of encouragement. You do not have to be an athlete to be in shape or work out. If you want to do it, just do it.

Working with the best partner

This is a tricky question. Who will be the best for you? What is the need of collaboration? It is to develop your business, enhance and expand it further. Oreo has launched a Game of Thrones-themed cookies and released a trending video teaser through their official Instagram in February, captioned “Cookies are coming.” with almost 200k views.

Marketing your business on digital/social platforms is effortless if you are precise and understand what your target audience needs.
